Residential Mortgage, Buy to Let, Protection and GDPR Training Academy

We are excited to invite you to attend our Residential Mortgage, Buy to Let, Protection and GDPR Training Academy!

The CPD accredited Training Academy will take place on Tuesday 6th February and Thursday 8th February, in Coventry and Basildon respectively, from 9:30 – 12:50.

As the title suggests, we’re packing a whole host of topics into one 3-hour session to bring Mortgage Brokers bang up-to-date on the latest compliance, residential mortgage and buy to let news. Joining us at the event are high street giants Bank of Ireland, Royal Bank of Scotland and Virgin Money, who will be discussing their latest product ranges for first-time homebuyers and landlords, new builds, high LTVs – to name a few.

In addition to mortgages and buy to lets, our very own Compliance Manager, Neil Mulhearn, will be talking you through common errors on protection cases and the protection options available to landlords. Even if you refer your protection cases to our in-house experts, this training is imperative to ensure you can confidently offer protection products to your customers.

Lastly, we will be providing you with important information on the GDPR changes and the key steps that you will need to take to protect your business. GDPR will replace the current Data Protection rules in May 2018. The new laws aim to change how organisations hold and process their data and provide individuals with strengthened rights as to what organisations can and cannot do with their personal data. Failing to abide by these new rules may result in huge fines!

What to Expect

  • Quarterly compliance update from Ingard
  • Product training covering ranges for first-time homebuyers and landlords, new builds, high LTVs – to name a few
